High School Time! August 2010 saw the start of my high school life and the beginning of my French lessons that continue to play an important role in my academic and personal life.

Europe Bound! As a mix between my 15th birthday present and a desire to work on my French communication skills, I had the opportunity to spend 1 month in Grenoble, France learning more about the language and culture. This month also saw me celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in London, visiting Paris, Geneva, Switzerland, and Turin, Italy.
Back Again! During this time, I spent 2 months back in Grenoble, France to continue my French learning experience. During this time, the family I stayed with decided to go on a road trip across the country and spent a few weeks in this tiny island called Île d'Oléron.

Orientation Time! These two days were not only overwhelming with the amount of information we received but it was a time when it actually sunk in that I was going to start my Freshman year at the University of Florida.
Freshman Year time! My first semester saw a mix of International Studies, Political Science, French, and Anthropology classes. I really enjoyed all the classes I took and confirmed that I would want to add French as a minor and Political Science as a double major.

The time has finally arrived to add my French and Francophone Minor! Not only did I get the opportunity to argue my case for having French be my African langauge but I was also given the opportunity to formally continue my education on French and Francophone matters.

Right before Winter Break, I began working at the University of Florida's Call Center calling our alumni. This experience has allowed for me to talk with Foreign Service Officers, Professors, and more! I've even raised over $25,000 so far for the College of Engineering and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

After 2 years, Fall 2016 saw me finally having enough credits to add Political Science as my official double major. I've had the opportunity to further explore the subtopics of International Relations, Comparative Politics, and American Politics and found that I enjoy taking classes exploring each of these topics.

Cruise Time! December 2016 allowed me the chance to spend some time with my family and explore Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, and St. Thomas. I loved being able to see these beautiful islands first hand and learning more about their culture.
Solo Traveling time! My last Spring Break saw me solo-traveling Sweden and Denmark for 10 days. Click [here] to learn more about my experience solo-traveling through Scandinavia.

Internship time! These 3 months I had the chance to intern at a law firm in Gainesville as a Legal Assistant. I really enjoyed being able to do research and learn more about the United States legal system – specifically regarding criminal and family law.
